READY, SET, GO!!!!!!
I am starting this blog to be of assistance to so many men and women serving their country right now, from the State of Minnesota. Rather than start a Foundation of my own to help family members in need of assistance while their soldiers are away, this will serve as a resource to find the best assistance they will need. This will advertise, update, and help fundraise for the organizations that are out there to provide unselfish assistance for the Military Family in Minnesota.
I was deployed in Iraq from January 2005 until December 2005, and I was blessed to have great support from my family members to help my family. I also know many families don't have the awareness of what is out there to lean on in times of need. When I say in need, I don't just mean financially, but loneliness, and for the little things that just might make the day better.
I hope as this comes together it will blossom into something that inspires others to realize the gift we have been blessed with to live and serve in the United States. I will use this forum to encourage volunteerism, genourosity, and well being amongst our own neighbors regardless of any political motives, but sheer citizenship.
